Darksiders 3 Coming Soon; See Details And Trailer Here

THQ Nordic announces the newest addition to its beloved series. Darksiders 3 is coming to all platforms (PS4, Xbox One, and PC) on Dec. 31, 2018. Although the game's release is more than a year from now, anyone will be able to preorder the game for $60. The preorders have started 20 months in advance, which is quite unusual as some suggested.

Darksiders 3 Trailer Released

THQ announced the new Darksiders game and IGN have the exclusive official trailer reveal. In Darksiders III, players will return to an apocalyptic Earth in this hack-n-slash Action Adventure game. Players will assume the role of Fury, one of the Four Horsemen, and she must hunt down the Seven Deadly Sins to bring balance to Earth.

Gematsu accidentally reported the game details to Darksiders 3 as a leak by Amazon. Amazon posted the product page five hours before IGN revealed the new trailer, which makes the mistake understandable. Nevertheless, fans are keen and hyped about the new addition to the Darksiders franchise and they can't wait to see Fury in action. To see the IGN exclusive Darksiders 3 trailer, click here.

Darksiders 3 Game Details

The Four Horsemen in the Darksiders series are not the traditional ones. Fans of the franchise have seen and played the first members of the Four Horsemen of the apocalypse, War (Darksiders), and Death (Darksiders 2). Fury is coming to the stores on the end of 2018 for Darksiders 3 and presumably, the last of the Four Horsemen, Strife, who fans will get to see in Darksiders 4.

Unlike the prequels, Fury is a mage according to the Amazon page so her contribution to the series is a more magic-based gameplay. Although her primary weapon is a whip, she can use magic and gives her the ability to change her form. As one of the four horsemen, the responsibility to bring balance between good and evil - where the others failed - now falls into her hands.
