Fans will be able to see Future Trunks and the other characters in action in the event and watch how they will fare against each other in this over-the-top fighting game.

It Will Be A Tournament

Not only will Evo 2017 present Dragon Ball FighterZ at the event. The latest news indicates that there will also be a tournament for this over-the-top fighting game. So, fans will really be able to watch Goku, Vegeta, Future Trunks and a host of other characters fight against each other. With different gamers joining the fight, it's a toss-up on which character is going to win.

Gamers Must Get An Evo Badge

However, the latest news also reveals that in order to join the free play of Dragon Ball FighterZ as well as the tournament at Evo 2017, a gamer must have an EVO badge for 2017. Joey "Mr. Wizard" Cuellar, the event organizer, confirmed that the version of DBFZ that will be presented at the event will include Future Trunks. He also hinted at the possibility that a surprise character in the video game may be announced at the event as well.

From previous reports, fans have been expecting the roster of characters of Dragon Ball FighterZ to include Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Frieza, Majin Bu, Cell and Future Trunks. There are also reports saying that Arc System Works, the developer of this video game, tried to remain true to the thematic elements of the Dragon Ball Z anime, which would make it a hit with the fans.

It Will Be From July 14 To 16

Dragon Ball FighterZ is not the only video game that will be presented and played at Evo 2017. The latest news indicates that Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite will also be playable at the tournament. This year's EVO is scheduled on July 14 to 16 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada.
