Epic Games announced that the "Fortnite" Icon Series will add tennis champion Naomi Osaka to the list, joining other famous athletes Lebron James and Neymar Jr.
Naomi Osaka is Coming to 'Fortnite' Icon Series
For those unfamiliar, "Fortnite" introduced the first icon series in 2019.
Icon Series includes well-known people from the gaming, music, film, and fashion industry. In addition to this, Epic Games also emphasized that "The Icon Series brings the artistic vision, personality, and attitude of top creators to Fortnite, building on previous collaborations with Marshmello and Major Lazer."
Since numerous players have been enjoying this series, Epic Games added several characters to the list.
Some of the said characters that were recently introduced in the series are Silk Sonic duo Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak, as well as Tom Holland's Uncharted character, Nathan Drake.
Apart from these celebrities, the tennis champion, activist, fashion designer, and entrepreneur Naomi Osaka will also be added to the "Fortnite" Island as the newest member of the Icon Series. Osaka will be joining the likes other famous "Fortnite" character athletes Lebron and Neymar Jr.

'Fortnite' Naomi Osaka Outfits
The game developer emphasized in another report that players will have to compete in a solo tournament to have a chance to unlock several outfits even before they hit the Item Shop.
These unlockable outfits include the Naomi Osaka Outfit, Dark Priestess Naomi Outfit, Royale Racket Pickaxe/Back Bling, and Portalforger Paddle Pickaxe/Back Bling.
The Royale Racket Pickaxe, which is included with the Outfit, produces a royal pink trail when swung, complementing the Naomi Osaka Outfit. When players return to the pursuit of Victory Crowns, players can use the Pickaxe as a Back Bling.
Players will also be able to fight with The Queen's Cloudcarriage Glider before even arriving on the island. The Court Queen alt Style is included in the Naomi Osaka Outfit.
Apart from this, the "Fortnite" Naomi Osaka outfit will also include the Portalforger Paddle Pickaxe which produces a green trail from a spirit realm when the character swung, matching the Dark Priestess Naomi Outfit. When players are haunting their opponents, they will be able to put on the Pickaxe as a Back Bling.
Furthermore, they can also ride the Cursed Hazeboard Glider through the fog of hidden dimensions as they drop on the Island. The Neon Priestess alt Style comes with the Dark Priestess Naomi Outfit.
'Fortnite' Naomi Osaka Challenges and Release Date
Epic Games announced that the "Fortnite" Icon Series will add tennis champion Naomi Osaka to the list, joining other famous athletes Lebron James, and Neymar Jr.
Epic Games also clarified that players can play up to 10 "Fortnite" matches within the three-hour time limit for their region. The Compete tab in-game contains specific event times for each area.
For those curious about the tournament scoring, the game developer stated that the Victory Royale gives players 30 points, the second place provides players 25 points, while the third placer offers 22 points. To know more about the detailed scoring, head to this link.
To acquire the Forbidden Ace Spray, players must earn at least eight points.
In order to participate, players must have two-factor authentication enabled on their Epic account, as well as be level 50 or higher.
In terms of the "Fortnite" Naomi Osaka Icon Series release date, Epic Games stated that it will be available on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at 7 p.m. ET.
