A few days before the release of "Call of Duty: Vanguard," lead developer Beenox revealed the several PC requirements of the game, including the updated version of Windows 10 64-bit and more.

A Call of Duty: Vanguard player has made the mistake of not only cheating during a tournament, but also exposing his cheating himself.

According to a report by PC Gamer. the player, who is known as Kenji, accidentally revealed his cheating ways during an unofficial but paid tournament.

"After drawing some suspicion about the legitimacy of his play, CoD streamer Kenji apparently tried to prove he wasn't cheating by pointing a webcam at his monitor and streaming during a 2v2 Search and Destroy match," the PC Gamer report narrates.

Two of his opponents, ImSasukee and iLuhvly, decided to contest the results of the 2v2 match that Kenji's team won. The hosting service of the tournament, Checkmate Gaming, then noticed something not quite right while reviewing Kenji's stream

Checkmate Gaming eventually realized that the player's monitor has shown that he is using a cheat commonly known as wallhacks. This particular cheat allows players to see through the walls to know where their opponents are.

ImSasukee has shared a clip of it on Twitter. You can view it below:

Kenji is Banned

Keni, who has already earned $4,000 from competitions run by Checkmate Gaming since 2020, has been banned by the hosting service as a result of his cheating.

According to the PC Gamer report, he has received a permanent ban from College CoD League, the collegiate league he competes in. The league made the announcement via Discord.

Unfortunately for his four Grand Canyon University teammates, they have been disqualified as well.

"Grand Canyon University is disqualified from the rest of the 2022 season and post-season," the statement reads.

"All GCU players listed below that competed alongside Kenji are banned until the beginning of the 2023 Season and may return to competition in the 2023 Season," it adds.
