We Were Here Forever was released on May 10, 2022, so yes, it is a fairly new game. It is developed and published by Total Mayhem Games.

2. It is the Fourth Game in the We Were Here Series
The first game ever released, which shares the same name as the series, came out in 2017. If you want to check it out, it is actually a free-to-play game you can get directly from Steam.
We Were Here was followed by We Were Here Too in 2018 and it was followed a year after by We Were Here Together a year later. Again, these games are likewise available on Steam.
3. We Were Here Forever is a Two-Person Co-Op Game
If you are planning to play this game with a large group of friends, sorry, no can do. According to the game's Steam page, We Were Here forever is a co-op game that can only accommodate two players. It should be noted that it is a co-op only game, which means you also cannot play this by yourself.
What is cool about this game is that it actually lets you, in the form of your characters, communicate with one other through the use of walkie-talkies. Pretty cool, huh? 4. The Antractic Castle You and Your Partner are Trapped In
The story of We Were Here Forever is set in a place called Castle Rock. As you may have already surmised, your goal is to escape Castle Rock.
It is easier said that done, however, as you have to solve puzzles along the way in order to save yourselves. There is also a lot of mystery going on and you must figure out what is going on so that you have a better chance fo escaping.

Okay, fine, this is something that falls under the category about things you need to know after you play the game, but we just could not resist mentioning it.
