5 PS Exclusives With PC Ports That You Should Try

The debate about whether PlayStation or Xbox makes the better console is still ongoing, and in a way, both brands have their own strengths. When it comes to exclusive games, you'll notice that more people lean into Sony's console. Fortunately for PC gamers, some of those titles already have PC ports. Here are some of them.

1. Horizon Zero Dawn

The game was first released back in 2017 and got the PC port three years later. It serves as the first of the two games in the franchise, with the sequel also available on Steam. It follows the story of Aloy, who is a hunter navigating a post-apocalyptic world.

You'll be immersed in a world overtaken by nature, as well as machines that take on the form of animals. The beauty of it is that somehow, humanity has regressed to a more primitive culture and technology has become foreign once again.

2. Stray

The internet is absolutely obsessed with cat videos, so when this cat-centric game was released, people were more than willing to try it. Amazingly, the premise was not just bait as anyone who played the game had nothing but good things to say after they finished it.

You'll be controlling a ginger cat as it journeys across a cyberpunk city forgotten by time and populated by humanoid robots. The heartwarming story is all the more enticing considering that it was a cat that managed to bring light, literally, to a shadowed place.

3. God of War

The God of War franchise has a lot of games under its belt, but most are focused on Greek mythology. The second latest game which was released in 2018 brings Kratos, the blood-thirsty Spartan into Norse mythology. This time, he won't be fighting alone anymore.

The whole game, he will be alongside his son, Atreus, who will also be a big part of the game released in 2022, God of War Ragnarok. Unfortunately, the second Norse-themed game is still a PlayStation exclusive, but it's likely that Santa Monica Studio will release a PC port as well.

4.  Marvel's Spider-Man

Just like God of War, there are already several game titles that feature the teenage hero, Spider-Man. One of the latest games released was back in 2018 with the titular character, followed by 2020's Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

The game that followed, Spider-Man 2 was released in 2023, so it might be a while before we see the game on PCs. Regardless, the 2018 game holds up and is worth the purchase before you play as Miles Morales or get the second game when it does come out for PC.

5. The Last of Us

It took Sony a full decade before a PC port for The Last of Us was released. The game was first released back in 2013 and was remastered in the next year. Naughty Dog took about six years before the sequel was released, so it might be a few years before we see The Last of Us Part II on PC.

Still, it's worth playing the first game, especially since it largely builds up the emotions that you would either love or hate in the second game. It follows two protagonists, Joel and Ellie, as they venture through a world filled with Infected and people with bad intentions.
