Galaxy Note 7 Official Release Date & News: Flagship To LaunchThis August; Pre-Orders Now Available

At this point, it is no secret that Samsung will officially unveil the Galaxy Note 7 this coming Tuesday, August 2. However, when it will be available for the public's taking is an entirely different matter.

According to Droid-Life, there is no shortage in speculations when it comes to this. In fact, there are rumors saying that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will be ready for purchase as early as August 3, 2016. However, there are also rumors saying it will take weeks after the unveiling for it to be made public.

Fortunately, the publication claims to have settled this dispute. Reportedly, pre-orders for the unit will be available starting August 3, with the unit going on sale officially by August 19. If there was ever a time for it, these are the dates to mark on calendars. That is because the Galaxy Note 7 is poised to be stand on the highest pedestal on the smartphone market.

As GSM Arena claims, the unit will be a comfortable 153.5mm x 73.9mm x 7.9 mm to hold, weighing it at only 168 grams. Underneath the 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display, is a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. Other units will reportedly be powered by an Exynos 8893 chipset. A 3500mAh battery will keep the unit reliable for the entire day.

Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is expected to run smoothly with an option of 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM. Its rear camera is an impressive 12 megapixels, while the front camera is 5 megapixels. As the standard now for Samsung devices, it will also be IP68 dust and water resistant.

The unit is expected to arrive in three colors: black, silver and blue. The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is expected to cost around EUR 850 or roughly USD 950 when it hits the market.
