The rumored addition of the lightning port is quite possible since it's a standard feature in many Apple products. The iPad Pro 2 is also rumored to have a True Tone display and improved camera capabilities, like the iPhone 7.

This means that an iPad Pro with 32 GB of storage can be bought for around $679 instead of the old price of $799. People have speculated that Apple's iPad Pro clearance sale is the fastest way to get rid of the old model to make way for the new one.

Interestingly, Apple has touted the iPad Pro as a replacement for a laptop computer. The company even released a YouTube video which claims that the iPad Pro users can use the device for work and play. However, this notion has been dismissed by some Industry observers, according to Forbes.
