"Fairy Tail" has been in hiatus for a week and much to the fans' excitement, chapter 498 will finally be released this Monday. There have been speculations to the storyline of the upcoming release, including Levy being able to defeat Bradman.

Zeref Feels Guilty About Extracting The Fairy Heart

As a refresher from the last chapter's scenario, it can be recalled that Zeref felt guilty from extracting the Fairy Heart out of Mavis' body, as reported by Yibada. He then warns Irene about hurting the First Tail's first guild master any further, which annoys her. She then reminds him to never take pity on their enemies.

Neinhart Is Commanded To Face And Fight Ezra Again

Neinhart then barges in and interrupts Zeref and Irene in extracting the Fairy Heart. He comes in to report that the location of Ezra Scarlet has been confirmed, which has come to a surprise for Irene. Despite the shock, she composes herself and instructs Neinhart to face Ezra, but declines. He says he no longer wants to fight with Ezra again, but Irene doesn't care about how he feels. Ezra is then seen in the next scene, slaughtering her enemies with her sword.

In the upcoming chapter 498 of the manga series, it has been reported that Natsu will roar his dragon flames into the path to clear it,however he would feel cold right thereafter, then accuses Gray of using his magic.

Levy McGarden Goes To Fight The Bradman

However, Gray proves his innocence since he also shivers in extreme cold and this will be caused by Spriggan 12 using his winter magic. Levy McGarden then assures Gajeel that he will not be dragged into hell again, as reported by Hall of Fame Magazine. Levy then leaves with Jet and Droy, despite being persuaded by the Dragon Slayer not to.

The upcoming episode will reveal if Levy is then successful with beating Bradman, and it shall be known as soon as Monday.
