Samsung just rolled out its newest flagship, the Galaxy Note 7. With its high-end specs, sleek design and modern technology, the unit is arguably one of the best smartphones that are currently in the market. According to Android Police, the Galaxy Note 7 has a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor that runs smoothly because of the unit's 4GB of RAM. Internal storage is limited to 4GB, but can be expanded via a microSD. It sports a 12 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. On its face is a 5.7 inch curved AMOLED screen, with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow pre-installed.

Other than its stellar group of specifications, there are tricks and features within the Galaxy Note 7 that make it even more special and can make the user experience more efficient.

1. Organize Your Screen

Samsung allows users to personalize their screen as they want it - whether that is my grouping in folders, in different screens or simply arranging it alphabetically. For users that quickly want to alphabetize their apps, users need only to tap the right icon to open the app tray → 3-dot settings button → "A-Z."

The default setting, however, is to place newly downloaded applications at the end of the list.

2. Unlock Faster

The Galaxy Note 7 comes with the innovative iris scanner, which boasts as a faster, yet safer means of unlocking the unit. To activate, users need to head to Settings → Lock Screen → Irises.

3. Easy On The Eyes

Working very much like night mode, the Blue Light Filter of the new handheld provides less strain to the user's eyes at night. To initiate the feature, users need to click on Settings → Display → Select Blue Light Filter. A schedule can also be created.

4. Make It Personal

The Always On display feature is new to Samsung. According to Gotta Be Mobile, it uses less than 5 percent of battery throughout the entire day, while providing users a quick look at their notifications.

These notifications can be modified by heading to settings → Display → Always On Display → Layouts.

5. Transfer Files

Samsung has a feature that allows users to quickly transfer all files from one Samsung device to another. It is called SmartSwitch and allows the user to rest while the phone does all the hard work, like transferring contacts and photos. Users need to only download the application and use the connectors already provided with the unit.
