'Naruto Shippuden' Episode 476, 477 To Air In One-Hour Special; Anime To Shift Focus On Life After Manga Chapter 699

Fans of the hit anime series "Naruto Shippuden" will finally witness the final battle between Naruto and Sasuke in a one-hour long special this Sept. 29.

According to Saiyan Island, "Naruto Shippuden" is in the midst of a two week break and will resume with Episode 476 titled, "The Final Battle." The two-episode special will showcase the final showdown between Naruto and Sasuke at the Valley of End. In the manga series, the said episode will cover chapters 694 to 698. Meanwhile, episode 477's title has not been confirmed.

Following the one-hour special, "Naruto Shippuden" episode 478 is expected to cover manga chapter 699. The said episode will have the same title as the chapter, "Unison Sign." Reports claim that fans can expect to see reconciliation between the two shinobis of the leaf and undo the mistakes of the past.

On the other hand, "Naruto Shippuden" episode 479 onwards will focus on the events that took place after the 4th Great Shinobi War. It is expected to cover the epilogue in chapter 700. Fans can expect to see Boruto, Sarad, Mitsuki and the new generations of ninja in the alleged series finale on Oct. 13.

Meanwhile, there are also claims that "Naruto Shippuden" anime will eventually shift focus to life after manga chapter 699. According to reports, the anime version will adapt the official Naruto books focused on Shikamaru, the Hidden Leaf Village, and Sasuke.

According Saiyan Island, Shikamaru's story takes place 2 years after the final fight between Naruto and Sasuke. The Hidden Leaf Village will take place several months after the final fight between Naruto and Sasuke. The book of Sasuke will take place sometime after he leaves the village on his journey to retribution.

As of this writing, no final confirmation about these claims has been made. For now, fans can check out the upcoming "Naruto Shippuden" Episode 476 on Sept. 29.
