Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild will include a "Cooking with Link" portion. The upcoming game will be launched on 2017.

Cooking With Link Video Promo

In Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Link can explore the game environment to look and gather various food items that he can cook. A promo video was released showing how Link hunts for meat and collects various plants and herbs. The clip shows a brief animation showcasing Link's culinary skills.

Once Link gathers all the ingredients, he can cook up various recipes such as "Spicy Sautéed Peppers" or even "Hearty Steamed Mushrooms". The homecooked meals can give Link that much needed boost. A spicy meal will keep Link warm and keep the cold out. Link also hums while cooking. He also pats his tummy after a successful meal.

However, there is a chance that Link will err in his choice of ingredients that will produce some "Dubious Food". The Zelda game describes it as a "gross looking and bizarre smelling" thing. Link however, always has the option of just throwing it away.
