Pokémon Go used for Russian-linked election meddling?

Needless to say, Pokemon GO is among the best mobile games ever released. Since its initial launching, it involved a great number of players. Sure, its player pool might have decreased over time (and it's a big chunk, so to speak); however, it's still reaping more sales than its competitors.

According to Slice Intelligence, a data report analyst, Pokemon GO has made twice as many players as normal to spend real-time money as far as mobile games are concerned. The figure, nonetheless, is acquired during at its peak; hence it's safe to say that it has returned to normal.

Nevertheless, Niantic's hit augmented reality game Pokemon GO still fascinatingly account a huge percentage in the market -- 28%, that is. And this basically refers to the money people spent on any mobile games in America alone. Simply put, the title has managed to bring in six times more than Candy Crush Saga -- game deemed to be its nearest rival of all.

While the aforementioned data is quite impressive, the future of Pokemon GO is still a big factor to consider. That it's only a matter of time of whether or not the game will be able to hold on. Or perhaps, as time goes by, it'll continue to decline and end up like King's title.

As previously reported here at iTech Post, in the past few months, the player pool of Pokemon GO has been decreased significantly. Heck, the figure could amount to a total of 10 million. And fast forward to today, that number continues to grow.

Among the biggest issue players have with Pokemon GO is the lack of gameplay features. Fans basically want a feature that would encourage them to go back and play the game. The usual play of catching Pokemon (battling gym trainers, too) has seemed to have appeared dull in one way or another.

Fortunately, Niantic has already iterated their plans to release brand new Pokemon GO features. And true enough, the Pokemon Buddy System is one of them. But until these promised features arrive, it's safe to say that the number of fans will plummet.

What are your thoughts on Pokemon GO? Are you still playing the game? If so, what makes you excited? Any features you have in mind that you'd want to see in the title? Be sure to let us know at the comment section below!
