'The Sims 4: City Living' Expansion Release Date: Romance And Spice Festival Trailer Released

Many have been waiting for the exciting features from the Sims 4. Among the gameplay requests, fans have been clamoring for the "City Living" Expansion pack.

What's Inside The "City Living" Expansion Pack?

"City Living" boasts of four new neighborhoods with colorful festivals and interesting urban activities packed with stunning city views.

You can simply ask your Sims to work from home or assign them to a completely different task such as playing basketball. Gamers can either pick up the court in the neighborhood or play indoors. It's definitely fun to see your favorite Sim playing basketball and improve their skills.

Pets and Seasons Expansion Underway

In a Reddit thread, SimGuruDaniel answered questions about the possibility of the said addition in the Sims 4 game. The developer responded, "I think so. But what do I know?" The future expansion packs piqued the interest of  more fans including me, of course. Reports said that potential Pets DLC may include rats and other vermin.

Check Out Spice Festival

According to iDigitalTimes, the expansion clearly offers a lot of exciting features in the neighborhood. "Spice Festival" allows your sim to enter in one the curry challenges and test its culinary skills. The market also boasts of all kinds street food that can be found anywhere in the globe.

Love Problems? Romance Guru Can Help

As if that was enough, another festival is also to be included. The Romance Festival allows your Sim to interact with a romance guru about relationship problems. Pay the guru a visit for a sound advice and have a "glimpse into your future."

Get Your Feet Going to the Flea Market

If your sim is on a tight budget, the flea market may be the best solution. Sims can buy and sell interesting objects such as painting, vintage pieces and other decorations. If you are looking to complete a collection, the flea market is the best place to go.

More Interesting Choices Of Careers

There will be four added careers to the game. You can be a politician, charity organizer, successful online media person and a food critic. As a politician, the public may call you out for lying, so keep in mind to do good works. On the other hand, charity organizers may ask for donations or bribes.

Want to be the next Mark Zuckerberg? A social media career is up for you. You'll have to meet as many people as you can to climb up the ladder. As a food critic, you will be sent out to review food or art festivals throughout the city. How cool is this?

20 Plus Traits Added

More than 20 career traits make the expansion more realistic. The cheaper the rent, the "filthier" your apartment becomes.

The Uptown has "sunny aspects," "bracing breezes" and "great acoustics" while a converted flat is deemed more "homey" and enjoys a more "natural light".

Geek Con Is The Way To Go

Aside from Pets and Seasons, Geek con is probably one of the most awaited features. Here, your Sim can become a cosplayer but if you are not into costumes, you can compete in a hackathon and the ultimate gamer test and meet tons of nerds.

Convert a Warehouse Or Live A Posh Life

In the "City Living", you can choose to build your apartment from scratch by buying a warehouse and converting it to something magical or enjoy a more elite atmosphere with modern looking auditoriums, sky gym and a rooftop lounge.

New City Themed World, San Myshuno

San Myshuno definitely offers an interesting set of features from new careers to new city surprises. More exciting features from Sims 4 will definitely hook you.

"City Living" is scheduled for release on Nov. 1 for Mac and PC.
