'The Sims 4' Update, Release Date: New Gameplay Features Basketball Games In City Living; In-Game Money Waiting If You Choose Politician, Critic Careers

"The Sims 4" different districts in the new city-themed world allows Sims to experience other new things. The upcoming gameplay will feature the characters playing basketball in the San Myshuno's Spice District. A number of new careers are also expected to be added where the players can select a social media career from their Sim characters.

"The Sims 4" avid players have reportedly been waiting for some news regarding the third expansion pack for the game. In a recent announcement, Electronic Arts has launched some interesting information regarding the life simulation game.

On "The Sims 4's" official website, the team announced on Sept. 13 about the new City Living expansion pack that features a new world called San Myshuno. Based on the website post, the world is described as diverse and dynamic, considering the different hobbies, careers, activities and new items that are found in the expansion pack.

"The Sims 4's" San Myshuno is reportedly a coastal town near a mountainous area, and has new characters like tourists and other culturally-diverse citizens. According to reports, the players can send their Sim characters to five festivals like the Romance or Geekcon Festival.

The "The Sims 4" players can also choose to have Sims as either politician or a critic. According to reports, these careers can help Sims to collect in-game money to move from a simple apartment unit to a posh penthouse.

Meanwhile, "The Sims 4: City Living" characters are reportedly given some tasks that are expected to be bigger. Primarily, the task is to survive in the city. Reports indicate some aggravating neighbors that should be dealt with, including landlords which seem to be looking to hit up the Sims for rent.

The new content pack for "The Sims 4" has more than 20 free updates for the past two years as well. Among these include one, which takes out the gender binary from the game to allow Sims to express themselves, Polygon reported. Watch the "The Sims 4: City Living" Official Trailer here:
