Following the release of names of 10 Hollywood actresses potentially to star in "Deadpool 2" as Domino alongside Ryan Reynolds' Wade Wilson, latest updates available point to Ruby Rose as the forerunner in the race. Rose might have tweeted a hint to confirm her participation in the upcoming anti-hero film.

Ruby Rose is currently leading the rumors to play in "Deadpool 2" as Neena Thurman, also known as Domino, a former mercenary who eventually became an X-men member. A fan account on Twitter for Ruby Rose tweeted the Australian thespian a photo grid of a screen cap from her movie "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" and an animated version of Rose as Domino herself, saying "This has to happen. @Rubyrose as Domino in #Deadpool2..."

Ruby Rose: "I Am Smiling"

In response, the actress tweeted: "I am smiling!! I just, like many have deep concerns for mankind right now." This sparked speculations that Rose's camp might be in closed-door meeting with FOX as the hinted starrer is under negotiation to play the role. However, there is no confirmation as of now from Rose's manager regarding the rumors.

Potential Domino Actors

In the race to becoming Wade Wilson's partner in "Deadpool 2," nine more actresses were initially teased in the run for the lead role, including Sienna Miller (G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra), Lizzy Caplan (Now You See Me 2), Stephanie Sigman (Spectre), Sofia Boutella (Tiger Raid), Maria Elizabeth Winstead (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World), Sylvia Hoeks (The Best Offer). As of the latest, other names have already surfaced that include Mackenzie Davis (The Martian), Eve Hewson (Bridge of Spies) and Kelly Rohrbach (Café Society).

Domino is known for her hand-to-hand skills and marksmanship. Part of her ability as a mutant is to alter powers which she uses as a mercenary.

As for the release date, there has been no confirmation if "Deadpool 2" will be pushed for 2018 premiere. However, movie production was already announced to kick off early 2017.
