Microsoft has recently confirmed that the Xbox Scorpio project will be incorporating its upcoming flagship console, the Xbox Scorpio, with 4K resolution and some possibilities of it having VR support. Phil Spencer, head of the Xbox team, has made some noteworthy statement with the media regarding the incorporation of VR compatibility to the Scorpio, which is similar to Kinect. He also confirmed that right now, the developers are currently working on making games that will support VR compatibility.

Spencer made it clear that the developers for the Xbox team are required to be highly accurate in the development of games that would support the console and VR headset, along with all of its other features. Currently, the existing models for PS4 demands wired connections that would limit a user's imminent gaming, which is why he is also giving hints about the Xbox Scorpio VR headset going wireless.
He also made it clear that the VR Headset will not be restricted to an only gaming console. Availability for Windows PC will also be a possibility. Everything will be a possibility if, and only if, the platform will be featuring games that fully supports VR technology. Which is why the game developers are currently making effort on developing their games for the VR feature.
