Battlefield 1 Battlefest Update: Everything You Need To Know

Just recently, EA has released a major Fall update for Battlefield 1. And now, the studio is looking to up the ante with the release of a new event. It's called Battlefest, and as expected, it's going to bring a number of rewards and/or giveaways. Here's everything you need to know about it. Read on!

The aforementioned Battlefield 1 event was first introduced to Battlefield 4 back in 2014. According to PC Gamer, it's going to introduce various community missions, new game modes and double XP weekends, among others. Although EA and DICE have already unveiled specifics (referring to what the event will be entirely about), a livestream is being launched to give fans a preview. You can check it here.

Battlefield 1 players who'll log into the game from November 16 to November 27 will earn the so-called Battlefield dog tag. It's worth noting, though, that the latter won't be given until the 28th this month. DICE made clear of this via the game's official blog site.

Moreover, Battlefield 1 players who'll sign up for the Battlefield Insider service, which is free, will receive a reward. That for anyone who did so before the start date of the event will acquire a very special Insider dog tag. This will be given to them the very day they log into the game.

It should be noted that the Battlefield 1 event is deemed as 12-day long celebration. And its main focus is for players to play and give importance to the objective. Battlefest is a "themed around team play," thus fans should ready themselves with forthcoming challenges. But hey, once successful, a good bunch of rewards can be expected.

The following day, November 17, the Battlefield 1 PTFO Battlefest Mission will commence. If players are able to complete this, they'll obtain a weapon skin of the same name. They simply have to play the game on at least 3 varied days as the event takes place. And in order to guarantee the reward, they have to win a match in Operations.

Also on the same day, the Road to Battlefield 1 Mission will start. However, this is specifically made for the players of Battlefield Hardline and Battlefield 4. Apart from that, players can expect new versions of Battlepacks -- all of which are specifically themed for the Battlefest event.

As for the Battlefield 1 event on November 18, players can enjoy the Black Friday Sale. Thanks to it, players can acquire some awesome deals on the game as well as other titles developed by EA. There'll also be a double XP event, though primarily for Hardline and B4 players who'll play during the day.

On November 20, Battlefield 1 players can learn more about PTFO thanks to renowned member in the community. They're said to conduct a community-share video livestream. November 23, on the other hand, will be more about giving the Veteran Dog Tag and the CTE Veteran Dog Tag. And lastly, November 25, the #FridayNightBattlefield Battlefest will take place. Here, players can test their skills and go up against DICE's very own devs. Another double XP event will also take place. To learn more about Battlefest, you can check the game's official site.
