Overwatch Players In PTR Have Found Ways To Make Symmetra A Joke

There's no doubt that Symmetra is among the most useful heroes in Overwatch. However, most players will agree that she needs more than what she has now. Well, fortunately, Blizzard is doing something about it. And this something is already live in PTR, also known as Public Test Realm. Believe it or not, players are quite happy that they're actually making fun out of it.

It's no secret that the aforementioned hero is getting a major overhaul. Among these changes pertain to her Ultimate. As soon as things go live, the character will be given the choice to pick between two abilities -- the Teleporter (her original Ult) and Shield Generator (the new one).

There's no sense explaining the first skill, as most Overwatch players know how it works. The second one is an exception, though. The Shield Generator, as the name suggests, will give players or allies an extra shield. Moreover, she also has a barrier similar to Reinhardt's. It's called Photon Barrier.

The barrier when gets hit and reaches its max point, should break. Well, not exactly with the case from a video courtesy of PCBangBros (embedded below). In the footage, players can see a total of two Symettras. The other one puts up a Photon Barrier up in the sky with the second player trying to fire or hit it. Funny thing is, it seems to have no effect. It didn't break at all no matter how many projectiles were fired.

These barriers even look like celestial freebies in Overwatch, flying with no intentions of landing. No matter how beautiful they look, they still create eerie noise. On top of that, the game's servers crashed as the legion of barriers in the sky caused lags.

Apart from the aforesaid wonders of Symmetra's Photon Barrier, a video from Aigey showcases Reaper being able to teleport on top of it. And from whatever perspective you'll look it, it's a glitch. But hey, slow down, it's still in PTR. For sure, Blizzard knows everything about these shenanigans.

What are your thoughts on Symmetra's upcoming abilities in Overwatch? Do you think these will change the overall meta of the game? Or perhaps, these will bring a significant impact? Tell us what you think at the comment section below!
