The CW, DC Series Crossover Has Fans Hyped; 'Supergirl,' 'The Flash,' And 'Green Arrow' Team Up

The CW has finally started it crossover with the heroes of the favorite DC superhero television series, “Arrow”, “The Flash”, and “Supergirl”. They will also be joined by the characters from the latest DC series “Legends of Tomorrow”. The crossover has excited fans since it was one of the plots many of the fans waited for and it is finally happening.

Supergirl, The Flash, and Green Arrow will be teaming up with White Canary and Atom to save the world against an alien invasion. Executive producer Marc Guggenheim said on E! News, “I think the way it came about was we all collectively wanted the superheroes to face an external threat. And by external I don’t mean extraterrestrial—I mean not a Big Bad from one of the shows, rather, a threat that came from outside of the shows.”

According to photo teasers, the network has released prior to the airing of the episodes of the crossover, the five main superheroes will also be joined by other superheroes. With a production so big like this for not even just a television series, but a mere few episodes, one can only wonder how things will work out. How can The CW deliver an action-packed arc without compromising the roles of the characters?

The CW has solved that by airing the episodes in all the DC television series. The first episode of “Heroes vs Aliens: The Dominators” also called “Invasion”, based on the DC Comics storyline, will kick off in the eighth episode of “Supergirl” Season 2 on Nov. 28. It will then be continued in “The Flash” Season 3 episode 8 on Nov. 29. Next up will be in “Arrow” Season 5 episode 8, then in the seventh episode of “Legends of Tomorrow” Season 2 on Dec. 1.

There were unconfirmed news that it will still continue on with the next and ninth episode of “Supergirl” Season 2 on Dec. 5. The CW is finally making a crossover between the four series and somehow adjusted it to make Supergirl appear in the same timeline as the other major characters since she lives in a different Earth. With the first episode of the “The Dominators” arc just broadcasted, be sure to stay tuned for the next one, which will be aired on the latest episode of “The Flash”.
