Telltale Games' The Walking Dead Season 3 Premiere Will Have Two Parts

Telltale Games' Walking Dead has become more heartbreaking than ever in its season 3. Its recent footage has debuted at the 2016 The Games Award. A New Frontier season 3 premiere is called The Ties that Bind. Clementine who is the hero from the game's two previous seasons will be returning together with another playable character named Javier.

A New Frontier is set in a time which is already four years after the beginning of the zombie plague. There are portions of the episode which gives a preview of the actual outbreak, showing scenarios of mournful death in the main character's family. It was even made worse with the situation of Javy's grandfather, which players could figure out the entire situation when they play the game, as reported by Attack of the Fan Boy.

Telltale's The Walking Dead is all about the society being filled with chaos, when a civilization emerged out of it. However, there are doubts if the living could actually be trusted in this new frontier. Javier, who is a young man, is decided to look for his family when he met a young girl who is also suffering from an excruciating pain for her loss. She is Clementine. Javier and Clementine's fate are bound together in this story that requires only have one option for every choice that they have to make, according to Polygon.

Telltale has mentioned details about the premiere last month, and they are sure to have this game rolling on Dec. 20. CEO and co-founder of Telltale Kevin Bruner said that the first two episodes of the five-episode third season of The Walking Dead will be released on the same day. His announcement during the The Game Awards was filled with enthusiasm as he mentioned that the premiere was a big one for it to fit into one chapter. As a result, the first two episodes were considered as the first and second parts of the The Ties that Bind.
