Body. The body dimensions of the Meizu M5 Note are 153.6 x 75.8 x 8.15 mm and body weight is 175 g. The body dimensions of the iPhone 7 Plus are 158.2 x 77.9 x 7.3 mm and body weight is 188g. I prefer the Meizu M5 Note, because it is lighter.

The display type of the iPhone 7 Plus is LED-backlit IPS LCD, capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors, display size is 5.5 inches, and display resolution is 1080 x 1920 pixels. I think I will give this round to the iPhone 7 Plus.

Platform. The OS of the Meizu M5 Note is Android OS, v6.0 (Marshmallow), chipset is Mediatek MT6755 Helio P10, CPU is Octa-core (4x1.8 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4x1.0 GHz Cortex-A53), and GPU is Mali-T860MP2. Memory. The highest internal memory of the Meizu M5 Note is 64 GB and 4 GB RAM. On the other hand, the highest of the iPhone 7 Plus is 256 GB and 3 GB RAM. Personally, when I see high RAM, that sells me fast, regardless of what other specs the other phone has to offer. This round goes to the Meizu M5 Note.

The sensory features of the iPhone Plus 7 are a fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and barometer. Its other features are Siri and iCloud cloud service.

For me, I like phones that have a fast-charger feature, but the iPhone 7 Plus has more features to offer. Well, I can always use a fast charger or some kind of app. I think I will give this round to the Phone 7 Plus.

Battery. The battery of the Meizu M5 Note is a non-removable 4000 mAh battery. Talk time, standby time and music play is unknown. For the iPhone 7 Plus, its battery is a non-removable Li-Ion 2900 mAh battery. Talk time is up to 21 hours, standby time is up to 384 hours, and music play is up to 60 hours. Given that there is no full information about the Meizu M5 Note's battery performance, I will make this round a tie.

The Verdict

The tally is Meizu M5 Note with 2 wins and the iPhone 7 Plus with 5 wins, making the iPhone 7 Plus the winner and the better phone. To be honest, I really thought it would be a close match, but I was wrong. Well, this is my take in which is the better phone between the Meizu M5 Note and iPhone 7 Plus.
