Gears of War 4, Forza Horizon 3, Halo 5: Guardians Coming To Oculus Rift On Dec. 12; How To Stream Via Home Network?
Oculus Rift is slated to become a well sought-after VR headset as new VR controllers have reportedly started shipping to match the VR experience. Furthermore, it has been revealed that Microsoft is bringing Xbox One games on the VR system as well. Apparently, the total package amps up the whole Virtual Reality experience into a level of realism.
Previously, Microsoft has revealed that Windows 10 PC users may already stream Xbox One games such as Gears of War 4, Forza Horizon 3, and Halo 5: Guardians over the home network. Apparently, Microsoft also had plans of bringing the same experience to the Oculus Rift. On that note, several hit games on the Xbox One are reportedly making their way on the Oculus Rift this month.
It has further been noted that Oculus Rift owners may be able to stream the Xbox One library on the VR headset with a new feature called Xbox One Streaming. The feature is slated to roll out on the Oculus Rift app on Dec. 12.
Such games that are crossing over to the Oculus Rift reportedly include the aforementioned titles along with several indie games, the biggest sports games and Backward Compatible Xbox 360 games as well. The Xbox Senior Director of Global Marketing Kevin Unangst further revealed that top games in 2017 will also arrive on the Oculus Rift platform as well.
In other news, the Oculus Rift VR controllers have also been noted to lend a touch of realism to Virtual Reality. The developers have reportedly been working on creating a more realistic approach to the Oculus Touch than a mere wand type. Hence, the Oculus Rift may now support hand presence with the Oculus Touch.
Oculus Rift however, was expected to pair with the Oculus Touch controllers nine months ago. However, with 54 games and counting as well as an ultra low price of $199, the Oculus Rift controllers have been noted as worth the wait. Note that the Oculus accessories may need double AA batteries to function. Watch to know which games will be added on the Oculus Rift here:
