"The Flash" season 3 midseason finale featured the backstory of Savitar and his real nature. But it also suggested the possible death of Iris (Candice Patton) before the end of the season. Andrew Kreisberg, executive producer of the show, has revealed recently that the main focus of the second half of the show will be the fate of Iris, Barry's girlfriend.

The New Plot Will Concentrate On Iris

Kreisberg, in a report from Hollywood Reporter, hinted that the new plot of "The Flash" season 3 will create a situation that was not anticipated by Barry and his team at Star Labs. The problem is so big they wouldn't know what to do. "It's so big, we're actually considering changing the saga sell from talking about 'Flashpoint'.... because that's really what's driving the episodes...," said the EP.

Savitar Is The Very First Speedster

It was also revealed in "The Flash" season 3 how Savitar was able to use Julian as Dr. Alchemy. Julian was out searching for the Philosopher's Stone somewhere in India. He was then grieving for her dead sister and Savitar used his grief in leading him to the stone. Savitar took over his body, and Dr. Alchemy was able to release the speedster.

The first speedster in the DC Universe is Savitar. He knows more about the Speed Force than all the other speedsters. He also has special skills that they don't have like stealing the speed force of other speedsters and lending his power to others as what he did in "The Flash" season 3. He also heals fast just like Wolverine of Marvel.

Savitar Will Kill Iris In The Future

Eventually, Barry will be able to defeat Savitar in "The Flash" season 3. But it will be the future 'Barry' who will do it. Hi future self is going to trap Savitar in the stone. It will be revealed that it is Savitar who will kill the future Iris West-Allen.
