How To Play ‘Super Mario Run’ In iOS Now For Free

The release of 'Super Mario Run' is scheduled on December 15 but anyone who wants to play the game now can do so for free. All you need to do is go to any Apple Store and try the game's demo version on the devices inside the store. Since the game will only be available in iOS app store, the demo version wouldn't be accessible to Android market.

First Glimpse of 'Super Mario Run'

According to the people that have already tried the demo version, the game will have three different modes but only one is available in the free version. Players can try the World Tour mode that can be played at three different levels, the basic, the introductory level and the underground level. The game gives players a 20-second glimpse of what to expect in 'Super Mario Run' gameplay.

In 'Super Mario Run', Mario will be running endlessly and be visiting one of the game's popular places, Bowser's castle. There will be the occasional maneuvers from right to left, kicking, and bouncing to get Goombas and Koopas out of the way. As an added challenge, players will be collecting coins just like the Mario games everyone grew up with.

'Super Mario Run' Based on Other Endless Running Games

This is not the first game that features a character running endlessly and collecting coins on their way to the end. Many players anticipating the game's release are worried that 'Super Mario Run' will be an imitation but most that have tried the game says otherwise. The resemblance is undeniable but playing the game reminds the users of Mario's old games rather than the games comparable to it.

According to Shigeru Miyamoto, 'Super Mario Run' was inspired by the game speedrunners which is why the resemblance is undeniable. Then the creator added more features like 5 Pink coins that must be collected while players make sure they finish the level within the time given and has collected other type of coins. It gets harder and harder every level but players will enjoy all the challenges with the game's social elements including leaderboards.
