Pokemon Sun And Moon: Shiny Charm And How To Get It

Another update has been released and we are so thrilled to get hold of it. Shiny Charm might not provide any additional stats bonus but they are worth getting it.

Shiny Pokemon are considered as the most unique and highly recommended Pokemon you can get in Pokemon Sun and Moon game. Finding this rare Shiny Pokemon is extremely hard unless you know the techniques in getting them. First, you need to find what they call a Shiny Charm. Once you have this item on hold, your chances of finding Shiny Pokemon greatly increases.

Where To Find The Shiny Charm In Pokemon Sun And Moon?

Well, for you to be able to find and get the Shiny Charm, you might need to complete the Alola Pokedex. For those who aren’t familiar with Alola Pokedex(which I doubt), today is your lucky day. Alola Pokedex is subdivided into four smaller groups: The Poni, Melemele, Akala and Ula’ula Pokedexes. Each of those subgroups consists of Pokemon that are extremely hard to catch. Knowing their location will ease and lessen the time in hunting them.

Luckily, we have the list of Pokemon Locations where these Alola Pokedex are located. For example, Rattata, according to the complete list, can be found on this coordinates or locations; Melemele Island: Route 1, Route 2, Route 3, Route 1 Hau'oli Outskirts, Kala'e Bay, Hau'oli City Shopping District and Akala Island: Route 4, Route 6, Route 8. For the complete list of Alola Pokedex you can check it right here.

How Do I Get It?

Once you were able to capture all those Pokemon, you are ready to proceed to the next step in getting the Shiny Charm. You have to follow these instructions carefully. First, you need to go to Heahea City and visit a character named Game Director. He is situated to the left of the Dimensional Research Lab on the second floor. The Game Director is wearing orange shorts and a gray shirt. If you haven’t spoke with the Game Director before, you have to try multiple times until he approves and stamps each page of your passport.

Just wait for the Game Director to finish the sequence and eventually he will mark your passport with a final stamp for completing the dreaded Alola Pokedex. Game Director will provide further instructions and will finally give you the Shiny charm. With this item present in your inventory, there will be a greater chance that you will encounter this rare, sought out Shiny Pokemon.
