Design And Display
Just like the HTC X10, there are no official body specs yet for the HTC 11. However, given that in 2017, Apple and Samsung are gearing up for a more "futuristic look" for smartphones, there is a high chance that HTC will also come up with a new innovative design if they want to stay relevant in the tech scene. About its display screen, the HTC 11 will feature a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.
Platform And Memory
The HTC 11 is said to run on Android 7.0 Nougat, but given that there is already an Android 7.1, HTC will probably upgrade to a different operating system. Regarding its chipset, it could be powered by either the Snapdragon 830 or 835. It will sport the Adreno 540 for its GPU. And for its internal storage, it is rumored to feature 256 GB with 8 GB of RAM.
For its rear camera, the HTC is said to have a 12-15 MP dual-lens camera. Quite similar to the iPhone 7 Plus. For its front camera, it will have an 8 MP front snapper.
Given that this year alone, smartphones have been starting to feature virtual reality and augmented reality, it is rumored that the HTC 11 will feature VR headsets. If you're wondering if it will be a VR headset that is compatible with HTC phones alone or a VR headset from another company, there is no information about it. It is also reported that the HTC 11 will have wireless headphones, just like the Apple has the AirPods.
