Blizzard Games Will Have Diablo Crossovers To Celebrate Its 20th Anniversary

Diablo, which was first released on PC on December 31, 1996, is already 20 years old. To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Blizzard announced that it will hold special events across all Blizzard games, like some sort of a crossover play.

According to Blizzard, the games that will be part of the Diablo anniversary include Diablo 3, Overwatch, Heroes of the Storm, World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, and Starcraft II. Each of these games will have their own special event which is related to Diablo. For example, Overwatch allows players to have a futuristic Sanctuary-style fighting complete with in-game sprays featuring different Diablo III classes will be provided. There will also be a new player icon which si modeled after the Lord of Terror.

Those who will play Diablo III will have nostalgic feelings as they play the Darkening of Tristram tribute event and go through all 16 levels of the original Diablo game. Players will see a reimagined version of the original cathedral in Diablo III as well as some familiar items. This event occurs only during the month every year.

In Heroes of the Storm, players will be rewarded with a Diablo-themed portrait if they win the battle for the High Heavens. So be ready to conquer this new brawl map.

Those who will be playing Hearthstone will encounter a mysterious hooded wandered which holds a grim deck in his hands. Go ahead and show your strategy skills at the Tavern Brawl to find out the secret of this mysterious character.

Meanwhile, Sanctuary fighters will find themselves sucked into the strange land of Azeroth in World of Warcraft while Starcraft players can use the Lord of Terror to work for them with a Diablo-themed portrait.

As Blizzard has announced, these events will only be for a limited time only so be ready to jump into the celebration and be part of these once in a lifetime celebration.
