Injustice 2 Release Remains Unclear After Ed Boon Confirmed Via Twitter

Nether Realm Studios will not release Injustice 2 on March 28, despite the previous announcement that was made. There were identified sites that already offered an Xbox pre-order incentive that indicates the game release on the said date, however it was confirmed through a tweet from Ed Boon that this will not be the case.

There were already many Nether Realm titles that have arrived in April, yet the studio has not yet fully identified the release of this comic-book-themed game. They are looking to hit a milestone for EVO 2017. The studio would like to have an earlier release of the game before the convention/tournament since they have a target audience upon the game's release.

In addition, there were not too many news about Injustice 2. Hopefully fans will not have to wait even longer before the fighting game will come out. It might be possible that Boon and Co. are already preparing for a series of information campaigns for 2017, however there are no recent major announcements for this yet.

It is also quite a positive thing that the studio is putting in a great amount of their time for this game, right after the issue of Mortal Kombat X on PC, according to Attack of the Fan Boy. The studio was able to reconcile these issues with the game, but it still took them longer before they were able to update the game for this platform.

There is still so much to know about what Boon, Warner Bros Interactive, and Nether Realm will say regarding the game within the coming weeks, especially about the release date timing for Injustice 2. It was on April 2013 that the original Injustice was released. This game was able to produce good reviews as per its Metacritic listing on the Xbox 360.
