Pokemon Go Update: April Fools Day Might Cause A Mayhem; Here's Why

April Fool's Day is such a great opportunity for those troll trainers who are excited to play their favorite game. During this day, Niantic could make all of the rare spawns into Dittos which is expected to cause a massive rage quit. Though, it seems like the company will not succumb to this kind of troll in Pokemon Go, but it should be exciting if they decide to.

As for the case of the rare spawns, the aforementioned scenario might actually happen as Niantic usually upped the frequency of rare spawns during the recent holidays, including the possibility of acquiring Ditto. On the other hand, Pokemon trainer named SalivaDangles suggests that a good joke on trainers would come in the form of increasing the spawn for Magikarp. If Magikarp spawn rate increases for the predicted April fool's day Event, it can give a good advantage for those trainers who are anticipating to have Magikarp candy or a medal, as reported by Otaku Kart.

Another idea that makes sense for that day is a Legendary Event that would later on transform into a massive Ditto Spawn. This idea could possibly cause annoyance for all, since everyone were already looking forward to the arrival of Legendary Pokemon. Apparently, holding this Legendary Event for trainers who are loyal to the game would be more beneficial than for those casual gamers. In addition, nobody wants hype train followers to get the best Pokemon anyway.

As previously recalled, Pokemon Go originated as an April Fools' joke for Satoru Iwata last year. The success of the game can be measured through its impact based on its worldwide audience. Satoru Iwata and Tsunekazu Ishihara from The Pokemon Company are responsible for the April Fools joke regarding Pokemon Go. They have collaborated with Google, which was known as the Pokemon Challenge. Pokemon Go is available for free on iOS and Android devices.
