Dodge Demon To Be Revived As Hellcat Says Fiat Chrysler

A demon from the past returns and it is set to arrive as the next Hellcat. It appears that there is more than just the resurrection of the Demon as it is also said to be more powerful than the current Hellcat with 707 horsepower. With that being said, it looks like those that recognize the devil from the 70s will get a treat from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA).

Dodge Challenger SRT Demon: The Next Hellcat

According to report, FCA has just announced its plans of resurrecting the iconic muscle car from the 70s called Dodge Demon. It was stated that the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon would be the next Hellcat. In addition, the automaker also mentioned that the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon would be even more powerful than the current Hellcat, which is equipped with a 6.8-liter V8 engine that delivers 707 horsepower.

Dodge Challenger SRT Demon: Power Hidden Behind The Cape

Unfortunately, there are no details revealed yet regarding the engine of the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon as reported. However, it was mentioned that a teaser video has been released by the automaker where a horned demon baring its fangs. In addition, the word "Demon" spelled out in jagged red letters was also show.

Dodge Challenger SRT Demon: Making Its Way To New York

Reports state that the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon will be making its debut at the 2017 New York Auto Show. Accordingly, new details about the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon will be revealed in videos that will be revealed on a weekly basis until the 2017 New York Auto Show kicks off. "This will be the next iteration. It will be the SRT Demon. Every single week, a new video will drop leading up to New York, saying here's what's new. And then New York, we will drop the whole car in New York," said Tim Kuniskis, FCA's head of passenger car brands in a report.
