Huawei P10 Release Date: Huawei To Reveal New Flagship Pre-MWC 2017?

The Huawei P10 may be coming sooner than expected as Huawei just sent invites for an event happening on Feb. 26, which just so happens to be a day before the Mobile World Congress 2017. The invitation mentioned a "flagship device;" Is it the P9 successor?

Huawei P10 And P10 Plus To Make An Early Launch?

Reports seem to think that the Huawei P10 will make an appearance in the event despite the fact the Huawei's previous flagship smartphones were released months after the MWC. Even so, it would not be too much a surprise should the Chinese company decide to shake things up this year, according to Tech Times.

Accompanying the Huawei P10 is said to be the P10 Plus, though fans are still unsure about the phablet. The CEO will also reportedly "share Huawei's latest innovations and exciting advances." It is unknown if this could mean other major announcements other than the much-awaited smartphone.

Huawei P10 And P10 Plus Specifications, Rumors

As Per GSMArena, the past leaks put the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus having a double-curved Quad HD display and an octa-core Kirin 960 processor coupled with 6GB RAM. The smartphone should have a 5.2-inch screen while the phablet should have a 5.5-inch screen.

There are conflicting reports about the camera. Some rumors peg both the Huawei P10 and its bigger sibling to have the same camera set-up as the P9, but others say it is more likely to have Mate 9's set-up. Both possess outstanding camera capabilities, so no one would be complaining either way.

The Huawei P10 release date is likely to be in March or April, but fans should wait until the event on Feb. 26 in Barcelona to get official information. More news on specifications, pricing and more can be expected by then.
