Apple's MacBook Pro line of laptops may be one of the most popular in the industry but that hasn't stopped other companies from trying to topple its dominance. Samsung is set to challenge Apple once more.
At the just concluded CES 2017, Samsung unveiled a number of impressive products one of which was the newest member of the Notebook line. The Notebook 9 immediately made an impression thanks in part to its lightness of being, so to say.
The MacBooks have long been known for its weight or rather the lack of it. The latest MacBook Pro, released October of last year to mixed reactions, weighed 3.02 pounds (13-inch model) and 4.02 (15-inch). Surprisingly, Samsung beat Apple in this category as the Notebook 9 weighed a measly 2.77 pounds.
But that is not the only significant difference between the two.
