New Overwatch Bug Turns Players' Health Into Time

The latest Overwatch patch brings in a slew of new content along with some new notable bugs. Aside from Mei looking thinner and D.Va blasting into space, this new glitch messes with the players' health bar.

New Overwatch Health Glitch

According to GamingBolt, the latest patch of the game brought in a whole new set of bugs and glitches. One noticeable bug apparently changes the value of the health bar to a certain time. A fan has taken to Reddit to inquire about this odd glitch and it seems like there are more players out there experiencing the same thing.

While not utterly game breaking, the bug itself is quite distracting and confusing. Needless to say, players have to focus on their health to know whether to continue attacking or pull back from the front lines and heal. Luckily enough, the bug only affects the numerical value and not the actual health meter meaning gamers still have a pretty good idea of their current standing.

Previous bugs on Oasis

Previously, the new map Oasis had a bug wherein players could go beneath the area and shoot players above them, as per PvP Line. In order to do this, the hero(es) must suicide off the side of Oasis and Mercy then revives them. From there, the heroes will then be underneath the map where they can eliminate other players without the fear of dying.

Unlike the health glitch, Blizzard has already responded to this current issue on the game's official forums. Principal level designer Dave Adams acknowledged the said glitch and claimed that the team is trying to find a solution for it. With this in mind, a fix for the health value should be coming sooner or later.

In general, it is not a good idea to mess or exploit the bugs in the game as it may come with severe penalties. This is where the report feature comes into play and makes a huge impact to those who continue to abuse the system. Despite the glitches in the system, Overwatch does its best to maintain a clean and stable gaming environment.
