The road to Wrestlemania is never easy. First, you have to survive the grueling 30 man, over the top, Royal Rumble then comes the biggest obstacle in WWE history, the Elimination Chamber.
The Elimination Chamber is the last chance for the Smackdown Superstars to star for main event Wrestlemania. It is easier said than done as this demonic structure feels no remorse about any human being once they are inside the chamber. The size of this structure is enormous with 36 feet in diameter, 16 feet from the roof to the floor, 32 miles of chain and weighs 32,000 pounds. The superstars will be then locked in a bulletproof half inch of plexiglass chamber.
Careers, legacy, and championship have been made at the same time ended in this structure. Fear and intimidation rule the Elimination Chamber. The unique thing about this monstrous construction is every part and inch of it is capable of destroying the human flesh. The Smackdown Superstars are not just going against each other but they have to face the reality that stepping in the chamber is a bigger challenge than the other wrestlers.
WWE Elimination Chamber: Championship Match
It’s been nearly 2 years since the WWE Championship belt was on the line inside the Elimination Chamber. Titles have changed in the past as the Champion cannot withstand the punishment of the structure and its opponent. Right after winning the belt at Royal Rumble, John Cena needs to face 5 other superstars. The former champion, the face that runs the place, AJ Styles is already in the match. He will be joined by the Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose, The Miz, The Lone Wolf Baron Corbin and The Eater of Worlds Bray Wyatt. Will Cena be successful in defending his title against these 5 talented superstars? There’s only one way to find out.
Smackdown’s Women Championship: Alexa Bliss vs Naomi
Ever since Naomi returned to Smackdown, she made it a point that she is going for the Women’s championship. In her recent matches, she made an outstanding statement that Alexa Bliss’ title is in jeopardy. Not only she was able to pin Alexa Bliss in Royal Rumble, she was able to do it again on Smackdown. However, nobody should count out the champ as she was able to find a way to win every match at any cost. Will Alexa retain or are we going to witness the “feel the glow” era in Naom?
Smackdown Tag Team Turmoil Championship
American Alpha has been looking for competition since they’ve won the Smackdown Championship. Well, they’ve just got their wish as General Manager Daniel Bryan announced that a Tag Team Turmoil match will happen in Elimination Chamber. The numbers are against the American Alpha as they are going against the best teams in Smackdown. Heath Slater and Rhyno will try to reclaim what was once their tag team titles. However, other teams such as The Usos, Breezango, The Ascension and The Vaudevillains has other plans.
Elimination Chamber will take place in Phoenix Arizona on February 12 at 8 PM EST.
