Injustice 2 Character Reveal Pushed Back For Next Week; Here's Why

Many days ago, NetherRealm Studios made an assurance that it will be revealing a new Injustice 2 character for February 7, 2017. However, the company has unsuccessfully provided any assets to uphold the inclusion of a fresh fighter into the game's roster the day before. Due to this, NetherRealm Studios has made a decision for the rescheduling of the character reveal until next week, given that the Injustice 2 hero or villain is scheduled to be revealed on Feb. 13.

Since this is the case in the past, the developer still utilized an image that contained a generic polygonal framework related to the potential fighter as a placeholder, where the date of their reveal can be seen across the front. As for the days that lead to the premier of the heroes or villains as playable figures in Injustice 2, NetherRealm Studios has posted a version of the image that can be seen on the official website of the game.

Because of this failure, one of the company representatives apologized on Twitter for those who were upset and confused about the situation, according to Game Rant. For those who are not yet informed, the last major character that was revealed for Injustice 2 was Black Canary. The DC hero debuted a gameplay trailer that featured her trademark Canary Cry scream, including her speedy maneuverability and loads of grappling attack during combat.

Before the character's reveal, NetherRealm studios has already released a footage that showed a full portion of screen time of the villains Poison Ivy, Bane, and Brainiac thus confirming their inclusions into the game's roster. With all other things considered, the reason for the rescheduled date may be due to technical issues so it is just reasonable for everyone to just simply wait until the following week.
