How PS4 Pro Patch Changed Fallout 4 Significantly

There are talks about Fallout 4 nearing its end, as Bethesda plans to shift its focus on newer titles. Whether or not that's true, there's still more for the game to offer. In fact, the studio just recently release the PS4 Pro patch for the game. And somehow, in one way or another, it gave the gameplay experience a huge boost.

According to Kotaku, the aforementioned Fallout 4 update arrived just this week. It brought a lot of things, such as 1440p resolution and a subtle increase in the game's draw distances. Moreover, enhanced Godray effects can be noticed. Contrary to popular belief, all of these somehow give the game a small enhancement.

Popular YouTuber and Fallout 4 player named Candyland showcased this significant change. Sure, the enhancement in terms of resolution is acceptably a very obvious benefit; however, this PS4 Pro Patch is not just about it. The new stuff such as draw distance and Godray effects compliment the beauty of it.

In the old version, Fallout 4 on Sony's system may look just fine. This is most especially if players don't really give an ounce of notice to it. However, when one is take a closer look when the game is running in the Pro Patch, the changes made are actually commendable. The grass and bushes, in particular, now looks more stunning. They already have a full effect, something that didn't even happen in the old version.

Simply put, the Fallout 4 PS4 Pro Patch has added some sort of realism to the game. It makes the experience a little bit more interesting in terms of graphics. Although it may not affect the gameplay directly, it still somehow levitates this area. Heck, even the texture details of the game are quite remarkable.
