For Honor In-depth Review: Pros And Cons Of The Game Discussed

"For Honor" just had its initial release date, yesterday, Feb. 14. And despite it being Valentine's Day, the other way went around as game reviewers weren't so satisfied with the game. This is primarily due to the impression that the game's writers really aren't into gaming.

Fantasy Warriors And Gore Everywhere

The game features too much blood and gore matched with martial arts actions done by a horde of fantasy warriors. But on the brighter side, it still features a great in-depth combat gameplay, enough to make up for its aforementioned shortcomings.

The characters, as well as their fighting styles, all support the game's early concept, making the game credible when it comes to keeping their word. The attack and defend system of the game can also be easily understood, but at the same time challenging at some point.

According to Destructoid, the game features a ton of new combo moves that will surely surprise everyone. It may even take several days or even weeks before players get to do or press all the moves that the game's characters can do.

Intermittent Lags Experienced

Unfortunately, the game's decent fighting gameplay isn't really that perfect due to its lack of smoothness. There are times when the servers seem to have glitches which cause more loading time in the game.

But then again, according to Kotaku, the game's tutorials are user-friendly which makes up for these serious problems. Intermittent lags are also common in the game, allowing players to have a reduced gameplay accuracy and precision.

With all of these being said, it would be safe to assume that the game developers are still doing the best of what they can to tweak these problems. For sure, they can do it. As of now, it would be better to wait for the proper release of "For Honor".
