There is a way to spot an inactive Guardian in Zelda: Breath of the Wild versus one that will come alive once Link goes near. Simply use the camera on dilapidated Guardians and it will tell Link if it's active or not.

Guardians are hard to kill in Zelda: Breath of the Wild with weapons and normal combat alone due to their innate tankiness and unbelievable damage that they can deal. There are tips and tricks on how to deal with the Guardians in Zelda: Breath of the Wild and the most effective one is parrying the laser blast he does. Korok Seeds In Zelda: Breath Of The Wild

Korok seeds are needed to expand Link's inventory slots in Zelda: Breath of the Wild. To get them, players need to find forest spirits called Koroks that will reward seeds to Link if they're discovered. Once the player thinks they have enough, they can bring those seeds to the river north of the Dueling Peaks Stable. Walk around the river instead of crossing the bridge to see the giant Korok who lost his maracas.
