Death Stranding Rumor Update: Emma Stone As Playable Character? Mads Mikkelsen Responds
Death Stranding already had big names such as Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen and Guillermo Del Toro attached to it. However, rumors have now surfaced that it is possible that Hideo Kojima would want to add another known character into his Death Stranding Roster, and it will be Emma Stone.
Mikkelsen's video, which showed him speaking during Saudi Comic-Con during late February, has shed a light on this recent news when a fan asked about a rumor on a possibility for Stone to be connected with the production. Mikkelsen responded that he cannot talk about it, though he liked this kind of rumor, considering that it is a lovely one.
Kojima Production possibly made Mikkelsen sign some extreme non-disclosure agreements on releasing spoilers. It is surprising that he likes the rumor about Stone's possible inclusion into the game. Head on to 22-minute mark in the video below to watch Mikkelsen answer the fan question.
Mikkelsen also got the chance to be featured during an episode of HideoTube. It is Kojima's behind-the-scenes YouTube series, where he was able to speak about his participation in the production. The actor gave praises to Kojima for making Mikkelsen and other cast members make some improvements on his sets. Mikkelsen also liked it when he was able to play around with his character, and it helped him to develop his psyche further.
As what he has said before, it is a truly interesting universe in Death Stranding. The story is not made in such an orderly manner, contrary to how films are. The background can be made up, but it is not necessary since it is out of time, and out of space. He thinks that the opportunity to do things that they have never done before is more based on the moment instead of it being linked to a psychological base.
It could certainly be interesting, which is not quite reasonable when they do characters. Death Stranding is still in its development phase for PlayStation 4 as an exclusive. Sony has not yet released new information about the game.
