Paladins OB47 Patch Preview: New Additions, Skins And More

Players of Hi-Rez Studios first person shooter Paladins received the Open Beta 46 patch last week, which features the new champion Lex and FN-01 Helios Fernando Skin. Currently, it seems like they will be receiving yet another patch as the developer revealed the contents for the next Open Beta 47 update.

According to the patch notes posted in Paladins subreddit page, Paladins OB47 patch features three new skins coming where one of them can be acquired for free. The update also adds Titles and Mastery page to the game. Titles are the new type that players can equip on their account profile. They can be earned by having a champion with Mastery level 20. It is noted that these titles are tied to a particular character. For instance, the Hand of Justice title requires a Lex with Mastery Level 20.

Mastery page is now updated to have a better display on the available rewards for each champion mastery level. Aside from these new changes and additions, three new skins are arriving in the realm. The first one is Nova Strike Kinessa collection, which can be purchased directly for 400 Crystals. The collection comes with four heads, two weapons, one body and a voice pack. It is noted that acquiring the Nova Strike collection will enable players to gain access to the Item Quest , which unlocks the other styles of the skin collection.

Paladins HRX Invitational Champion team Burrito eSports receives a tribute skin for Sha Lin, which is composed of a head skin, body, MVP Pose and Spray. It is noted that the organization will receive a portion of the proceeds. Lastly, the third skin that is arriving at the realm is the Volcanic Makoa Collection. It comes with complete skin set and a voice pack. Interestingly, it will come for free for players who reached account level 30 or above during Paladins Beta. Hi-Rez Studios said that this serves as a thank you gift for players who are actively supporting the game's beta.

Lastly, it seems like Paladins will start rolling out maps and champions lore in the future patch. Paladins lead art director HiRezHolt mentioned that they would release a map with a champion's lore attached to it. However, the release remains unclear as of now. It is recommended to wait for Hi-Rez Studios' further announcements.
