Wrestlemania 33: News, Updates And Results Inside

The Grandest Spectacle in the sports entertainment history just ended. There were numerous new champions crowned and legends were absolutely born. Wrestlemania 33 had broken several records but some of the results might have angered the fans.

Match Results And Updates

The show started with a couple of Wrestlemania kick-off matches. The cruiserweight champion was defended by Neville and Austin Aries showed why he is a legitimate challenger for his title. Austin Aries was about to win the match when Neville attack Aries’ injured eye socket. Neville went to the top rope and performed the devastating red arrow. Mojo Rawley won the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle with the help of The Gronk, Rob Gronkowski.

AJ Styles also showed why he is called The Phenomenal One. Shane McMahon brought the fight to AJ Styles but Styles has the last laugh. Styles defeated Shae McMahon with the Phenomenal Forearm. Probably the loudest pop in the evening is when The Hardy Boyz made a shocking return. It has been rumored for several months that the brothers are finally coming back home and they sure did. Hardyz went on to win the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship.

Former best friends Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho went into a war. Jericho had the upper hand but Owens prevailed with devastating shots to Jericho. The Beast Incarnate finally defeated Goldberg and winning the WWE Universal title in the process. Goldberg delivered numerous spears but Lesnar countered it with 10 suplexes and his vicious finisher, the F5. Randy Orton also showcased his brilliance as he defeated Bray Wyatt for the WWE Heavyweight Champion. Orton again deceived Wyatt thinking that the leader of the buzzards has the edge, but with a single strike, Orton ended his reign in an instant.

Undertaker’s Last Ride

Lastly, the Undertaker recorded his second lost at Wrestlemania. It was very hard for the fans to watch the ending especially that the Undertaker is one of the greatest performer in WWE history. Reigns had a quick talk to Undertaker before delivering the spear. Undertaker then removed his ring gear signifying that his wrestling career is over. In other news, the Citrus Bowl recorded 75,000+ in attendance shattering the previous record. There are updates that Undertaker will properly retire on Raw including Goldberg.
