Wrestlemania 33 literally blew the roofs off when WWE provided numerous surprise to its fans. Among the surprise was John Cena’s proposal to longtime girlfriend, Nikki Bella. The power couple not only won the match but have shared a moment that will last for the rest of their lives. However, it was revealed that Cena's mother was not aware that he will pop the question.

Time has come for John Cena and Nikki Bella to be engaged. It’s been long overdue already as stated by their friends and family. However, finally, John Cena made his move on the grandest stage of them all. WWE fans might not agree with it but John Cena was the face of WWE for almost a decade. Cena, who basically revolutionize the WWE with regards to marketing standpoint might be staying away from the spotlight for now.

Cena’s Mom Not Aware Of The Proposal

A day after their engagement was announced, John Cena and Nikki Bella sat down in an interview with multiple TV shows. John Cena stated that there are only a few people who knew that he will ask Nikki Bella about getting married. Cena was also shocked when he saw his mom in the crowd. The 16-time champion stated that he never told his mom about the proposal due to him wanting to make a surprise.

Nikki Bella As A Wedding Planner

Nikki Bella also stated on E! News that she does have an idea already on what dress to wear to their wedding. Nikki wants to wear two outfits - one for the wedding and the other for the after party. Nikki also mentioned that all the planning is basically done by her since Cena is not comfortable in doing such things. The “Total Diva” wants the wedding to be done this year and doesn’t want to prolong the agony. As for Cena, he can relax right now as the WWE is in good hands with new outstanding talents.
