Niantic finally releases Eggstravaganza in Pokémon GO. It focuses on player's catching and hatching eggs in celebration of Easter. In addition, the developer revealed exciting rewards and bonuses that will be available in the said event.

At exactly 9:00 PM. last April 13, Eggstravaganza started in Pokémon GO. According to BGR, the event will last until April 20 and will end at the same time it began. Niantic explained that players would be able to catch unique eggs players have been asking for in the event's duration.

In every two kilometers, players can catch new and better eggs in Pokémon GO. They should watch out if any legendary will be hatched in their eggs. Trainers must also never forget to hatch the eggs during Eggstravaganza to check if they have a rare Pokémon.

Since the event is for commemorating Easter, Lucky eggs will be discounted by 50 percent in the in-game store. Other than that, double XPs are offered to players with the help of Lucky eggs. The eggs will quadruple their chances of gaining experience points in Pokémon GO.

They can also get an increased number of candies for every egg they will hatch. Players know how important it is to get candies in Pokémon GO. Niantic is generous for a week and they should grab the opportunity while everything is doubled.

There might also be shiny creatures again during the Eggstravaganza. Like the previous Water event in Pokémon GO, where shiny Pokémon such as Golden Magikarp and Red Gyarados were available and waiting to be caught, chances of getting shiny Pokémon variants are also high as per Express.

Hopefully, everyone will be able to join Pokémon GO's Eggstravaganza as Niantic has promised better eggs will be available. There might also be more surprises scattered during the Easter hunt in the game, which is why players should better be alert on what they can obtain during the event.
