Prey Demo Arriving Soon; Details Here

Demo version is a perfect tool for every upcoming game to gather enough number of players in their player base. Also, it is a great way for gaming companies to introduce their game to the public by giving a time-limited experience. Apparently, Arkane's forthcoming game entitled Prey will be having its demo version which grants players access to the game's first hour of gameplay.

According to the report from GameRanx, game publisher Bethesda Softworks have uploaded a demo launch trailer for Prey which includes the date of launch and the supported platforms. As seen on the trailer, Prey demo will be available this coming April 27 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It was noted that PC version won't be receiving the demo. Interestingly, the demo version will be launched before the full game which is different than how Dishonored 2 demo was introduced.

On the other hand, Bethesda opted to host a demo for Dishonored 2 until after the game was released to pursue for the second wave of sales. As for Prey, players will be given a one whole hour of gameplay which is expected to end at a particular event that will cause players to grab a copy and discover where will the game leads them.

As of now, it is still unclear if those players who already purchased the game will be able to save their progress from the demo version. Nonetheless, the upcoming demo version of Prey also known as Prey: Opening Hour, put players in the role of Morgan Yu. Meanwhile, for those who are interested in purchasing the game, they can buy one for themselves when the game officially arrives globally this coming May 5.

Prey is an upcoming first-person action-adventure game which features a classic PC difficulty and will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It is expected that more details regarding the game will be released soon as the release date nears.
