"Steven Universe" Season 4 is finally back with "Lions 4: Alternate Ending" commencing the four-night finale marathon. Leaks are however all over the Internet and the latest drops the events that are about to go down of the final episode. Steven Universe is about to go to the Homeworld to save the gems and his human friends from Aquamarine and Topaz.
Cartoon Network will feature the first comeback episode of "Steven Universe" Season 4 on May 8 with "Lions 4: Alternate Ending" which was already leaked online last March. Fans are however more excited to see the finale which seems to be an action-packed and drama-filled episode.
A preview of "I am my Mom," which will wrap up Season 4, was placed online. The clip revealed the visit of Aquamarine and Topaz to Earth where they seemingly caused some troubles to Steven, the Gems, and his human friends. They were all dumped in a lake but Steven stands up for them as he declared that he is his mom.
The Gems were then stopping Steven from his plans but the little hero says he has to fulfill his destiny which is to finish what his mom, Rose Quartz, has started. It can be recalled that Rose fell in love with Earth and protected it from her race who meant to destroy the planet. Steven has been searching for his true purpose in life which will be seen on "Steven Universe" Season 4, "Lion 4: Alternate Ending." He will realize in the upcoming story that Rose meant for him to enjoy his childhood, but the finale will reveal otherwise as he grows mature and takes a stand for his planet.
The "Stuck Together" episode which will be the opener of "Steven Universe" was also already teased and apparently, Steven is not the only one going to Homeworld as Lars was also abducted by Topaz. The preview shows Topaz locking up Steven and Lars in his body as Aquamarine mocks Steven about his claim of shattering Diamonds.
The previews of the "Steven Universe" season 4 finale and season 5 premiere reportedly reveal the coming of the most intense battle between the Diamonds and the Gems. These events are believed to lead the show to the end of the series, which has already been talked about since last year. Cartoon Network has not yet confirmed the rumors but "Steven Universe" seems to keep up the pace with the whole week airing the remainder of Season 4. Season 5 will also come to the channel at the end of the month with "Stuck Together" airing on May 31.
