Gamers who are also fans of the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy will develop goosebumps when they see the new teaser trailer for Middle Earth: Shadow of War. This new video game is based on the popular movie franchise, and now Warner Bros. has just released a teaser that will give gamers a peek on what this game offers.

The Environments Are Expansive

The teaser trailer for Middle Earth: Shadow of War focuses on a number of expansive environments that gamers can explore in the game's open world. These places include the Island of Nurn, Gorgoroth, Cirith Ungol and much more. The trailer also showed some brutal scenes from brutal encounters of the game's characters.

A new siege mechanic was also explored in the Middle Earth: Shadow of War teaser trailer. This system will enable gamers to occupy fortresses in Mordor and other fortifications. The trailer also gives players a peek outside the city walls of these fortresses. It is the first time anyone has seen the sweeping environments offered by this video game.

The Open World Is Richer And More Personal

According to its publisher, the game world of Middle Earth: Shadow of War is set in the period between The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. This game was based on the Shadow of Mordor story of 2014. Monolith, the developer, explained that this game's world is expansive, richer and more personal. The game, according to Monolith, restores the Nemesis system that makes every playthrough different.

The Game Is Arriving On August 22

While providing new images of the familiar Seregost and Cirith Ungol, this Middle Earth: Shadow of War teaser trailer showed some new places that gamers have never seen before. It also demonstrated the game's new weather mechanics and the open world's enhanced wilderness. This game is set to launch on Aug. 22 for all platforms.
