‘Far Cry 5’ Launches First Trailer; Features American Doomsday Cult, Release Date
Far Cry 5 is set to launch its first trailer. Ubisoft, the game developer, also confirmed that the video game will be released on Feb. 27, 2018. The video game will launch on Xbox One, PS4, and PS4 Pro, PC and Project Scorpio.
There Will Be Three Editions Of The Game
There will be three different versions of the video game: Standard, Deluxe, and Gold with a Season Pass for the latter. An additional bonus of free content will be given to PS4 owners who will buy their own copies of Far Cry 5 on launch date. Meanwhile, the Ubisoft Club will also provide the same content to PC and Xbox One users.
Players Will Take The Role Of A Junior Deputy
Far Cry 5 is set in Hope County, a fictional town in Montana. It allows gamers to create their own character, a junior deputy. This deputy is tasked by Pastor Jeremy, an African American minister, to take the Eden's Gate, a doomsday cult, apparently, because it took away two of his members -- Nick Rye, a pilot and Mary May, a bartender. They were hoodwinked by the religious cult to change their faith.
Players Need To Take Down The Doomsday Cult
The doomsday cult is poised to overtake the county through a carefully laid-out plan. Gamers of Far Cry 5 need to prevent the cult from succeeding. They must gather the resistance to help them free Hope County and its citizens from being overtaken by members of Eden's Gate.
