A special demo of Pokémon Sun and Moon was recently released on Nintendo 3DS. The new Pokémon game allows players to import first-generation Pokémon from their virtual console versions of Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow into Pokémon Sun and Moon.
Here is a walkthrough of the demo including the list of what you can snag in the latest Pokémon Sun and Moon.
Ash Greninja
To acquire Ash-Greninja, simply complete the main part of the demo. Once done, you will again continue to where you left off, allowing you to complete more activities and receive the following awards: Star Piece, Stardust and Nugget.
Walkthrough
Once you start the game, you are tasked to read a letter about Greninja. After reading, Hau will greet you inside the City Hall to change your address. Once you leave the hall, Team Skull Grunts will confront you (it won't be that hard to beat them). Upon defeating the team, head north and proceed to Pokemon Center.
In the Pokemon Center, you will be given a Super Potion and Hau will introduce you to Professor Kukui. However, you have to accept the professor's proposal to travel to the Ten Carat Hill.
Star Piece
You will go head-to-head with a few trainers on Ten Carat Hill with B. After beating them, Ace trainer Sheri appears near the entrance to challenge you. One tip to keep in mind is that your Greninja should be fully healed before battling as she is equipped with a Jangmo and a level 42 Pikachu.
Water Shuriken should be enough to knock out Pikachu before it causes too much damage.
Three Stardusts
When you leave the Pokemon Center, turn right and head down to the line of Slowpoke blocking the road. You will encounter a girl along the way; take her up and accept her offer in return to be transported to Mahalo Trail. Use Y to call upon Taurus and smash the rocks leading up the path with B. A mysterious man with three stardusts await you.
Nugget
Proceed to Ten Carat Hill and immediately turn right while riding on Taurus. Destroy the rocks blocking the path and speak to three men to start the Pokemon-Catching challenge. You need to catch three Pokemon to receive your Nugget at the end of the challenge. Bear in mind that every Pokemon you catch and every Pokeball you earn will be released and forfeited once the challenge is done.
Timed Unlockables
Aside from the awards, a number of timed unlockables also becomes available on certain days. There are five unlockables that can be accessed on the 19th, 23rd, 30th this month and on Nov. 5 and 11.
On Oct. 19, Pretty wing is the first gift you'll receive. Talk to the guy outside the Pokemon Center on to obtain ten Pretty Wings. On Oct. 23, make a left outside the center and another left, you will meet a woman with a large floppy hat, strike a conversation with her.
A man inside the city hall will be celebrating Pikachu's birthday on Oct. 30, make sure you get to catch the fun. Just outside the ferry terminal, a policeman says a shady deal will happen in that very spot on Nov. 5, do not miss the action. Lastly, make sure to meet the lady inside the Ferry Terminal on Nov. 11.
Pokemon Sun and Moon is expected to be released on Nov. 18 worldwide and Nov. 23 in Europe.
