Overwatch Update: Why Blizzard Might Release Sombra Come November 1

Over the course of months, Overwatch players have hyped themselves for what seems to be a new hero. Well, it's no secret really -- it's no other than Sombra. Unfortunately, until now, the character has yet to be unleashed by Blizzard. But with the latest hints about her ARG, it's likely that Nov. 1 will be the highly anticipated release date.

As previously reported here at iTech Post, Overwatch fans were thrilled knowing that Sombra will arrive very soon. This is due to a website called AMomentInCrime.com. The aforesaid site basically displays what appears to be a countdown for the talked about hero. Obviously, many think it was her, as a logo of her can be seen on the upper part of the website.

Sadly, the countdown ended and still, no Sombra can be seen in Overwatch. This has certainly affected the whole community, with some holding grudge over Blizzard. It was a huge hype train after all, and most of the fans were onboard. Heck, others even suggest that solving the puzzle is useless, as the studio might decide to do it according to their preference.

However, there's a new development -- a new clue, in a sense -- in the aforementioned Overwatch hero. Players over Reddit were able to mine information from a website of LumeriCo, which is a fictional company. The trick was done simply by converting Bastion's robotic voice line into Morse code.

As per the emails the Overwatch fans acquired from the said website, the fictional business entity is set to unveil a new nuclear plant just near the Dorado map. And the date it's pointing? Well, it's on Nov. 1. In one way or another, this fits the previous rumors about Sombra being release during the Halloween season.

The most interesting part is that the upcoming Overwatch hero has been represented by a skull icon or imagery. And take note: November 1 is the Mexican's so-called holiday Dia de los Muertos -- an event which involves the making of sugar skulls. And if anything else, this could point to the supposed character.

Whether or not there's truth to this, there's no denying that the Overwatch community is ready for Sombra. That since day one, they've been so eager to get hold of a new hero. So, only time can tell if the aforesaid date is the timeline they've been waiting for.

What are your thoughts on the latest clues about the Overwatch hero Sombra? Do you think Blizzard will really reveal her come Nov. 1? What are your expectations? Be sure to share to us your thoughts at the comment section below!
